My Journey into Art

I started painting in caseins in 1970 and switched to watercolor in 1990, painting mainly portrait commissions of children and florals.

In 2000, I began my odyssey with oil painting and presently am enjoying it immensely.

I live in Northern Indiana just a stone's throw from Lake Michigan and have been taking portrait commissions of children and adults. I enjoy getting to know my clients and strive to paint them in the traditional manner revealing not just an image, but also their personality.

Painting magnificent flowers is something I truly enjoy. I paint them with an eye to detail as I like to know what makes a flower a flower! My macro veggies are also great fun to paint and have been well received by my collectors.
